I love your dyed pieces and follow your blog regularly because of the beautiful pieces you share.
When I am looking at hand dyed fabrics, I am always attracted by the special designs created in the negative spaces in the process.
My first glance at this one took me immediately to the white background areas and the lovely designs created there. It is perfectly OK to let the magic happen and don't feel you have to color the entire cloth. This is s stunning piece.
BethanyBethany Garnerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17381147194656828768noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7141771224189769395.post-19623526237928933512015-04-19T18:51:48.877-05:002015-04-19T18:51:48.877-05:00Kay, while I am not an expert in dyeing quilting f...Kay, while I am not an expert in dyeing quilting fabric, I am thinking it is done. I guess the white is what is bothering you? If I was using it for garments, I would cut into the areas that I wanted for my project and not use the areas that wouldn't. It would make your bright colors even brighter, adding black.
