Oh What A Beautiful Quilt!

image

This quilt has been hiding behind another design wall for a few months. When I slid the wall back I was so excited to see it again and realized how gorgeous it is.

I’m hoping I’ll get a chance to at least finish the piecing soon.

I’ve always told students if you don’t like something put it away for a while and you will see it with new eyes and really be able to evaluate it.

I DID love this one when it got to this point, but I love it MORE seeing it again.

Thanks For The Memories!

image

I know someone is going to be thrilled to win this set.

image

This ICON handbag “The Procession Of The Brides” can be used with just about anything.

image

Someone snapped this one up almost as soon as it was listed.

image

4 matching pieces in a rich color called Iron Rust

image

Another gorgeous CS Collage silk scarf

image

A regal royal purple set with velvet and organic cotton. This was one of those outfits I had a real hard time deciding to part with. It’s fantastico!

Yes, I’m still holed up listing on eBay – maybe one or two more weeks to go.

Right now I am listing a lot of things I rally had to convince myself to release them to new owners.

If you want to see the rest for the week they are at:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/bluefishquilter/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

As you may or may not know posting these things on my blog is my way of letting them go but still have the memories of them.

My closet is getting emptier and I can find things and put new combinations together.

I’m A Collector!

image

One of my collections is my clothing – Blue Fish, and other fine lines. Even with divesting myself of some of it 2 and 3 years ago my closets were still too full.

So what’s a girl to do?

Well share some of it on eBay of course. I didn’t think I had so much to share that I’d still be posting every week.

I’m not done yet!!!

image

These pants and top are two of the things I will be parting with this week.

image

Another great duo that will be going to a new home.

image

An Eileen Fisher dress with a CS Collage scarf – both will be traveling to new owners.

These are just some of the things I have available this week.

You can see them all at:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/bluefishquilter/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

It’s a good feeling to free up closet space and be able to see what I have and put new combinations together.

Keep watching for “The Rest Of The Story”!

Wednesday Words

image

Soon many of the things I’m showing you this week will be nothing but memories for me.

This 4 piece outfit is a very clever styling by Blue Fish.

image

These pieces which are a combination of knit and woven have created a lot of interest already.

image

This is an interesting set. The skirt converts to pants when you button it a different way.

The peplum effect is wonderful.

image

I am featuring a very large Carter Smith scarf with the top. The possibilities are endless with a scarf this size.

image

This Isabella Fiore purse was snapped up immediately when I listed it.

image

A smart shopper scored this Carter Smith kimono jacket before I knew what happened. She made a very good buy saving $XXXX.00 on a brand new garment. Good for her!

These are a few of the things I have listed on my eBay auction this week.

If you would care to see all of them just click on this link:

http://www.ebay.com/sch/bluefishquilter/m.html?_ipg=50&_sop=12&_rdc=1

Of course each item has a full description along with more photos.

This has been taking the majority of my time recently and I still expect to be selling for a few more weeks.

I am finding things to wear in my closets that I had forgot about now that they have emptied out some!

Yes, it’s a good feeling.

Thursday Truths

image

This has been an exceptionally busy week for me with my eBay auctions. These were 6 coordinated pieces I offered and five of the 6 were snapped up with Buy It Nows.

image

This seems to be the season for thermal. The pants and Jacket were gone before I even realized they were up for bids. The vest is available on my eBay auctions.

image

I am even offering several pairs of my beloved Troentorp clogs this week. This is a prototype pair I was fortunate to be able to purchase and I’ve never worn them. The embossed leather is something special. I am guessing they were never produced for the market as the process to create the leather was cost prohibitive.

image

This shibori dyed scarf is also available for bids.

image

These three pieces were also snapped up almost immediately.

image

This is a close up of a geisha painting on a pair of 4 panel pants I have up for auction. There is an identical geisha on each panel, along with a secondary painting. The art is all by Brian, the Eagle! You can see the color of the pants around the painting. This would be fantastic with a simple black top.

There are a lot of great things still available as I list a lot each week. The auctions close Sunday evening between 7 and 9 p.m. PDT and I also have some closing Monday evening between 7 and 9 p.m. PDT.
