Mystic gave a whole new look to our great room.
All it takes to update a room is one carefully chosen piece of art to enhance and beautify a room.
I decided it was time to make that change in our dining room.
I am so happy I did it. The response has been overwhelmingly positive.

Your surrounding should make you, your family and your guests comfortable. Select things that are you and simply update them occasionally with something that speaks to you as Mystic did.

My son Greg and DIL Julie arrived last night so they could see my show before it ends.
We will arrive before the show will be taken down at 1 pm and see the show and take some pictures and possible a few short videos.
Then with the Cultural Arts Coordinator we will take the show down, pack it up and bring it home.
The show opened on March 16th. It’s hard to believe it is over. The time went way too fast.
I hope if you live close to Ocala or were travelling through you saw the show.
Or maybe you can get there today between 8 am and noon to see it before it comes down since the City Hall opens at 8 am.
This is the only solo showing of my work in Florida and it has been very well received.
It was a pleasure to work with the Cultural Arts Department and I was extremely pleased the way they showed the work as ART.
Sacred Spirits is another one of my best Ice Tapestries.
Unfortunately if wasn’t in the show as there was a limited amount of space to display my work and this was just too big.
It is a very large – 43 inches wide by 89 inches long.
I included it here so you can see it.
It is quite different than the rest of my work.
I feel the Ocala Cultural Arts curators did a fantastic job selecting work for the show and hanging the show to highlight each work of art.
I hope if you haven’t had time to see the show I hope you have plans to see it before it closes.

Can you imagine how fantastic this would look in your surroundings? I design ART that will be at home anywhere no matter what you decorating style or colors are. You will see something new each time you look at it.

People have commented they see different images in my work. This is totally serendipitous as I really don’t know what the finished piece will look like until it is done. Each piece I do is manipulated differently than anything else I have done.

Do you ever wonder how I come up with names for my work?
When I was young my godmother wore a color of nail polish called Rosey Future. It was a gorgeous color and she was a very beautiful lovely lady. This just made me think of her.

Although this Ice Tapestry quilt has been sold it is still a part of my solo show Florida Ice until the show closes.
When the show closes the new owner will take possession of it.

I am so excited to be able to share my “Florida Ice” show with everyone.
Sun Fun Flower uses circular quilting, one of my signature styles. The other areas are quilted with designs appropriate for the areas.
All the work is my own proprietary method of ice dyeing.
All the work was done in my Florida residence. The finishing is done in my Wisconsin studio.
The show opens March 16th with an opening artists reception from 12:30 – 2 pm. It runs through April 27th at the Ocala City Hall. It is open M-F 8 am- 5 pm.
All work in the show is for sale. They are all original work using my proprietary methods and designs.
