Friday evening was our annual Pizza Fondue night with Jeff’s family at my house.
Kierstin is showing another Hummel figurine she received for her collection.
Cooper’s (age 7) very favorite was a piece from my red glass souvenir collection. It was inscribed Omaha Exposition 1898. Who would think a 7 year old would appreciate something like this so much? Here he is reading the inscription.
Here is Jeff Sr. with his 3D packer quilt. It is a little blurry as it wouldn’t stop spinning for the photo!
Jeff Jr. is multitasking – eating a clementine and opening his Christopher Radko pear ornament.
Dana reading the “Life Little Instruction Book” she received.
Heidi showing us the little book she received.
Cooper’s other favorite was this book. He wanted to read the whole thing aloud to the family. He came to a page about showing everyone in the family his love for them and made the rounds!
Hug for Heidi!
Hug and smooch from Kierstin!
We have been celebrating this way since Cooper was 4. The first year he wouldn’t eat the fondue, just the bread to dip in it. Now he loves it. He starts asking when we are going to do this night as soon as he sees me in December. I hope it is a tradition they all will keep in their memory bank for ever!

Not only will Cooper keep it forever, but it will become a Christmas tradition is his home and passed into perpetuity.
