How Many Years Ago

 

Facebook offers to show you what you look like from a variety of years ago.

I only got 2 photos when I tried that so I decided to do a search of my own.

This was taken about 16 years ago when we had our family portrait taken with the entire family at the time.

This photo was taken at my niece and nephew in law’s wedding 9 years ago in Illinois.

This was taken about 4 1/2 years ago in Florida.

I’m guessing this could have been about 25 years ago as we were setting up the quilt sale both at the Chicago Botanic Garden.

Maybe 23 years ago taken at Hilton Head Island at Jinny Beyer’s Quilting Seminar? I don’t have a date or anything for reference on these older ones. Many were printed photos which I scanned into the computer years ago so even the date they were scanned in means nothing,

It’s fun to look back and see different hair styles and also the glasses or those where I didn’t wear glasses!

Potato Chip Quilt 2 Finished - Play A Simple Melody

I finished this last night.
I guess not having an internet connection for the majority of time the last two days allowed me to get many things accomplished!


I am very pleased with the final quilt. It is does NOT have straight edges and this was intentional.


I thought some of you might enjoy seeing a closeup of the quilting.

This was a perfect quilt to make a puzzle from!

Can You See A Design And Color Signature In My Work?

I put some of my recent completion pieces on the design wall along with a WIP.


With the exception of the two black and white pieces these are not pieces in the same series.
Often people say they can spot my work not matter what I do.
Can you?
Would you have thought all of these were done by the same person?

I think one of the reasons this is on my mind is because I posted a photo on Facebook.


I asked if anyone recognized who the girls in this photo were. (It was taken when I was in 9th grade)
I was surprised when several friends who didn't know me what back when recognized me in the photo instantly.
