More eBay Listings Before I Wrap It Up For The Winter

I listed a lot of patterns, books, etc on eBay last week and figured that would be it until summer. I sold a lot but I still have a lot available.

I realized that people are looking for patterns for warm clothing with the temperatures we’ve been having.

I decided the easiest way to get those patterns to those who want to sew for the cold weather is to list things with a Buy It Now and a 3 day listing period so they can buy the without waiting a week to see if their bid won.

Although I just started doing this a couple hours ago, things are already selling and they will be shipped ASAP.

I just realized I still had time to list more Kwik Sew patterns on eBay today. They are all brand new and are the ones printed on the heavy paper. I am concentrating on listing patterns for cold weather....patterns for Polar Fleece, robes, ...pajamas, etc. I'm also listing Donner Designs ski wear patterns, some Erickson patterns and some others. All the listings are Buy It Now so you don't have to wait a week to see if your bid was the high bid. The listing period is ONLY 3 DAYS so don't wait or someone else will buy them of they'll be gone after 3 days. There are patterns for men, women and children. You can find them at:

All Good Things Must Come To An End!

This is my last week selling on eBay for a long time.

It’s time for a break as I am ready for other activities and priorities.

This Camille Dress and 2 Level Top/Jacket are the most unique garments Blue Fish has ever designed. Even at their original price of over $800 for both pieces they are still a bargain when you look at the construction and the possibilities. They each have a bottom section than can be buttoned off and used as a scarf, shawl or what have you.

This hand knit Ralph Lauren Collectible Sweater is my most prized clothing possession. It‘s the original colors for the sweater and they are authentic serape colors.

This gorgeous Templeisen Gown also has a bottom that snaps off. I am showing it with a Carter Smith collage scarf.

The theme for my listings this week tends toward BLACK – and you all know “You can never be too rich , not have too much black in your wardrobe.

4 Square pants are one of everyone’s favorite Blue Fish pant designs. The painting on this NWT pair is awesome and features a frog on the front of the left leg. What’s not to like about these?

I’m Making Progress!

If I showed you a current picture of what’s left in my closets you’d say “I don’t believe she got rid of anything”!

So I decided to show you empty hangers. All these hangers had one or more pieces of clothing on them when I started by eBay journey a few months ago.

I keep all my things on padded hangers to keep the shape – particularly the shoulder area.

There are still more empty hangers upstairs I haven’t brought down yet.

There are also pant hangers not in the picture.

Now do you believe me?

I’m still emptying hangers and will add more to this basket in the next few weeks!

Not only can I see what I have in my closets now, I can put outfits together.

I’m Still Working It On eBay!

I am at the part of this journey where I am selling some things I thought I’d never part with.

These 3 collectible pieces are some of them. I just don’t have enough time to wear them so they will become part of someone else’s collection and I hope they will show them off by wearing them.

This skirt and jacket are also from the same Fall 1997 Blue Fish Collection.

This Geisha Tee was something I special ordered. The Geisha Tee is the most desirable of all Blue fish tees. Since I have never worn it it’s going to a new owner too.

Lest you think I only have Blue fish in my closet, here is a FLAX jacket with a hand dyed shibori scarf.

I’m A Collector!

One of my collections is my clothing – Blue Fish, and other fine lines. Even with divesting myself of some of it 2 and 3 years ago my closets were still too full.

So what’s a girl to do?

Wednesday Words

Soon many of the things I’m showing you this week will be nothing but memories for me.

This 4 piece outfit is a very clever styling by Blue Fish.

These pieces which are a combination of knit and woven have created a lot of interest already.

This is an interesting set. The skirt converts to pants when you button it a different way.

The peplum effect is wonderful.

I am featuring a very large Carter Smith scarf with the top. The possibilities are endless with a scarf this size.

This Isabella Fiore purse was snapped up immediately when I listed it.

A smart shopper scored this Carter Smith kimono jacket before I knew what happened. She made a very good buy saving $XXXX.00 on a brand new garment. Good for her!

Thursday Truths

This has been an exceptionally busy week for me with my eBay auctions. These were 6 coordinated pieces I offered and five of the 6 were snapped up with Buy It Nows.

This seems to be the season for thermal. The pants and Jacket were gone before I even realized they were up for bids. The vest is available on my eBay auctions.

I am even offering several pairs of my beloved Troentorp clogs this week. This is a prototype pair I was fortunate to be able to purchase and I’ve never worn them. The embossed leather is something special. I am guessing they were never produced for the market as the process to create the leather was cost prohibitive.

This shibori dyed scarf is also available for bids.

These three pieces were also snapped up almost immediately.

This is a close up of a geisha painting on a pair of 4 panel pants I have up for auction. There is an identical geisha on each panel, along with a secondary painting. The art is all by Brian, the Eagle! You can see the color of the pants around the painting. This would be fantastic with a simple black top.

Take Time Tuesday!

I know I have not been present on the blog much recently. I am still on that same track selling on eBay and shipping the packages.

 

This week was no different, with the exception that I listed more than normal and kept busy, busy , busy. Today I will finish shipping the items won.

This awesome Blue Fish jacket is an outstanding piece I’ve listed on eBay this week.

One lucky person will be the new owner.

These 3 pieces in the color Pomme are also available for a new owner. The teapot jumper and the Dream skirt are that exciting Blue Fish organic thermal cotton. There is even a lyrical print of a teapot on the jumper.

The lycra layering tee is their fantastic cotton lycra stretch fabric with just enough stretch for fit perfectly. When I see these pictures it makes me wonder why I am selling these pieces? I guess the answer is I can’t wear it all and it’s my goal to let someone else treasure these pieces and wear those I have never worn or don’t wear.
