Orange Marmalade OR Citrus Circus?

orangemarmalade
This is my most recent ice dyed Mandala….different that all the rest.
Which name do you think fits this one?
I did use the same color dyes I had used in another piece but in different amounts and there is little or no similarity between the two pieces.
That is one of the things that keeps me coming back to this quest….I play while using what I know about color and dyes and keep getting gorgeous surprises.

Oh my!! It's gorgeous! It looks like a sunburst to me, but I like the name Orange Marmalade. I can see why you keep doing what you are doing. It's just beautiful.

I'd go with Orange Marmalade. I can imagine a quilt made with this orange and similar dyed pieces in yellow and green being called Citrus Circus.

As a very big fan of orange, I'd call it Orange You Happy...or maybe The Joy of Orange. It is an absolutely fabulous piece.

Ditto what Nann said! Would you actually cut into this gorgeous fabric? You make me want to pull out my dyes and play. Oh yea, I used up all the dyes I had. Bummer.

I just hand dyed some fabric last week! I've never tried dying with ice, but this piece of yours is gorgeous!

Wow! What a wonderful result! It certainly looks like marmalade in a luxurious crystal marmalade jar reflecting the sunlight, but I just wouldn't want to cut into it. Oh, no! 😳 This makes me want to try ice dying immediately!

I like Citrus Circus, because you have all those shade of green, yellow, orange and even a bit of pink grapefruit! It is so pretty, like nothing I've seen hand-dyed before. Great piece! It begs for wonderful quilting next.

Wow, how stunning....I like the name Citrus Circus because it is just a riot of colour and patterns....just beautiful...I don't know how you could bear to cut it up. Thank you for sharing at Design Board Monday with Bits 'n Bobs
