Why would you say ALMOST a tessellation? I see one shape repeating over and over...i.e. tessellating! The design is made from single color compositions....also a single shape, repeating...i.e. another tessellation...right?
The gray 4 patches in the center of the other large shapes are why I didn’t call it a tessellation. But if I redraw the shapes the grays may be added to the large shapes and it IS a tessellation????? What is your thought?
