I’m Going To Share My Secret With You

image

This is the quilt I was keeping a secret. I have decided to make a different one for our challenge so I can share this with you.

image

This is what it looked like before I added the stitching.

image

These are the threads I used to satin stitch every 1/2 inch on the quilt.

Here is a close-up of one area of he satin stitching.

Chasing Rainbows is now keeping company with Alexandra on the wall of the breakfast room. The Penny Fairy is watching over both of them!

(Hard to photograph when one is so light and one is medium dark)

Where you able to see the various layers of rainbows in this quilt? Hint: There are three!

WOW - amazing piece ! I just love how you used the satin stitch; normally I'm not too fond of it, but on your quilt it looks just perfect !

Now that is impressive! I know that took many, many hours of satin stitching.
