Is Kay ever going to post again????????

Various things have kept me away from my blog.
I plan on being back with regular posts again.

I have been working on pasting samples in my Color Bible from Carol Soderlund's Dyeing classes at Nancy Crow's Barn. It's been almost a year since I took my last class from Carol but things got in the way and this is the first chance I have had to paste samples to the pages.

I have enjoyed this activity immensely as I get to study each and every color and the way it flows into the other colors. I have learned to appreciate colors I would never have given a second glance.

The samples I am showing you are from the SKY family, dyed in Csrol's Dyeing II class. I didn't think I'd really like this set of colors but I am absolutely smitten by them.

For anyone who loves color, wants to dye fabric and learn about how to get the colors they want in the value they want I highly recommend Carol's class. If you take it at Nancy Crow's Barn you also can enjoy the delicious nutritious gourmet lunches, dinners and snacks prepared for you by Chef Margaret Wolf.

Margaret has also published a cookbookk with many of her delicious recipes. Just last week we prepared her Artichoke Lasagna and it was just as delicious as I remember it from the Barn.

Yippeeee!!!! Kay. What fun you have been having. Isn't it great when you have quiet and relaxed time - to paste your pages. I so prefered doing mine when I had more time to ponder and drool over the colours - than some of the original sets when I just cut and pasted quickly.

Seeing your post made me smile today:)
