This picture was taken about 8 years ago. We made the ice luminarias in 5 gallon buckets. They were beautiful. This may be the year that we will have enough snow and cold to do it again. But I think for some things "once is enough"!
Yes, they were beautiful! I doubt we will ever have a cold enough Christmas to make ice luminarias, although it got down to 16 for awhile on Saturday morning. That is a beautiful photo.
