Something Bothered Me About Yesterday's Quilt

I took out a few seams and fixed it.

Do you see what I changed?

I wasn't bothered with the problem area when I looked at the quilt itself.

When I photographed it and put in on the blog I could really see where there was a problem.

One of my best tools when designing is my digital camera.

This quilt is about 21" wide and 18" high.

I will quilt it and finish it with a facing, rather than a binding.

I had to look at your previous post, but finally figured out what you did. It does make a difference. Nice going!

Ah yes, I see what you mean.
Great little invention - the digital camera.

Love it...love it...the addition of those 2 blue strips on top make all the difference!

I see the difference but find the additional blue stripes distracting = they seem to compete with the blue square below them. Just my opinion. you're the artist and it needs to please your eye. Sorry

I guess I could go either way with the additional blue strips, but I do like the idea of finishing it with a facing.

I think it was a good idea to add the two strips. They make the top row look more intentional and are an answer to what is going on below.
