How I Create – Part 4

I was able to get the quilt layered and am in the process of quilting it.

This is a close up of most of the area that has been quilted. I am thoroughly enjoying adding the quilting to it.

I am always amazed how a quilt comes to life when the proper quilting is added.

I loved the fabrics in the first place but the setting and innovative quilting sure makes it a winner....

I love the colors so of course I love the quilt. I am starting to do some of my own quilting by machine...and noticed you have changed the quilting thread at least three times....

Would love if you touched on that process as well.... you know esp the "ends".

I have used the same color thread for the entire piece...a medium taupe. I guess it just looks different on each fabric.
I use the feature on my machine to stitch in place when starting and stopping, but try to do stitch from one area into the next without starting and stopping. It works if you plan your paths!

thanks....I was fooled with colors... they looked like at least three .... will look again.
