Ice Dyeing Revisited

In addition to the Mandala I showed you recently I dyed several other pieces of fabric and two tee shirts.

I used tee shirts that I had worn and washed many times and got some interesting results. The colors on this one are very similar to the colors in the mandala.

This piece of fabric also contains similar colors.

This piece shows remarkably different coloration. You never know what is going to happen when you use mixed colors of dye.

Here we have a little hint of colors from all the other pieces.

I believe one of the reasons I keep coming back to this process is the exciting results I get. They are totally unpredictable. If they were predictable I wouldn’t have to do them ever again!
