Ladies who lunch enjoy another interesting restaurant

Today Judy and I had lunch at B. D. Beans restaurant. It is so funky it makes my house here look absolutely conservative. The food, coffee and desserts are delicious. It is just such a fun place. We had this table with the wing chairs right in front of the fireplace - what a fun setting for our great lunch. It was the perfect spot. She's been here 2 full days now and I don't think we will ever run out of things to talk about. It's been so much fun catching up. I'm sure the week will be over too quickly. You can't help but smile when you have lunch here.

I wouldn't let Judy leave without seeing the ladies restroom. It is so funky with the hats, old lamps, rope lights and other tschotkes. The men's rest room is equally interesting but we didn't peak in there today! I ran out of room on my camera memory card so these are the only photos I have to share.
After we came home I took a short nap, enjoyed the beautiful sunset, and enjoyed an appetizer supper. We visited some more and then had some delicious key lime pie. Another perfect day in paradise with sunshine, warm weather and great company.

I've been playing around with Corel Photo Paint again and I have a variation of June 16 for tonight's puzzle.

Oh, this reminds me of the place where my husband has lunch on working days and where we sometimes go to play pool billard. The owner is Polish. Germans probably have a different idea about a restaurant, but we love it.

HI Kay,
Well, now that's one way to see my Aunt Judy. Thanks for letting me know to check the blog. Our "baby" was 1 yesterday--a cake all over her face day. My first copy of my book, The Quilting Answer Book, arrived this week and I am so pleased with it. The publisher does a topnotch job in every way. I sent off the manuscript for The Sewing Answer Book last week--two weeks early! Now I have book withdrawal, but several new proposals are brewing! I want to sit and sew for a bit, instead of just writing about it!!
If Judy is still there, give her a big hug for me!
