What a difference a day (year) makes!

I know everyone is so tired of hearing about the weather. I try to avoid discussing it on this blog.

This photo was taken in front of my house on March 6, 2009.

This photo was taken in the same spot on March 10, 2010.

This is the same azalea bush 1 year and 4 days later. There are a lot of buds but it will be at least two or three weeks before it looks like the one from last year.

Yes, we have had an unseasonably cold winter in Florida and even had a dusting of snow.

I am not complaining as I am thankful to be here and not "Up North" with the cold and snow they have experienced in 2010.

Today was one of the most beautiful days we have had. It was sunny and warm with a gentle breeze making for a very pleasant walk.

Well you are not missing anything up here for the last few days. Fog fog fog to the point of being very dangerous. This afternoon it started to rain though so the fog evaporated!

At least our weather is in the 40's though. I will take that over the cold anyday and it is melting all the snow fast.

You has a right to talk about weather this year. It was so unusual in Florida.

LOL. Kay,
You would enjoy our part of the world!
Right now we are sitting in the middle of a heat wave with high humidity where we are and a drought in many other parts of the country- and its supposed to be going into autumn.
